Danger called Ken - Episode 4 - DÉMONSTRATION D'AUTO-DÉFENSE

I am at home, a two-story house that looks a lot like Micky's from the series, (recurring decor?) And a woman is sitting at the table listening to the radio very loudly. I know her, it seems to me that she is Abel Dagone's sister. She is deaf as a pot. But wants to talk to me. I signal to her with gestures that it is necessary to turn down the radio if she wants me to understand her. Appearance of new visitors, all lookalikes of Abel. I have my answer. We have a lot of fun everyone together, in fact I make the perfect host and I have fun with them too. I tell these brothers that I have always lived in two houses and that Abel has always been the master of the place. What is still true in the house where I am currently staying, I add. The visit once gone, Abel - like a husband, a jealous lover, grumpy and tyrannical, yells at me like rotten fish. He searched through my things and found unworthy toys, including leather mittens, and accuses me of indecency. I explain the meaning of the word fetish to him, and he calms down although his bad mood persists. I think deep down that he is unhappy because I have become independent and owner of all the spaces, and that he would like to regain these rights in order to be able to house his family there.

Jess Keritani and I live together in an upper duplex, the place is identical to where I sleep while having these two dreams. Jess has certainly made his financial statement because he got into his tax report and a bad mood reigns against me. Yet I did nothing but he is angry with me. All his T4s came out on the kitchen cabinet. Gynada Kouri calls. She starts her phone in the middle of a sentence and I catch up with her on the subject of a promotion or a good news that she had and whose paper I read, which I want to quote to her, but confused with a novel that I am reading and to avoid any misunderstanding I tell her to wait, that I will look for the document which concerns her. However, this document cannot be found among Jess' papers. I stay a long time trying to guess where he may be, while Jess allows himself to close the phone left open. Nasty shouting match between him and me where I take the upper hand, like you earlier with Abel, and I wake up in real life, remembering that Griselda has undoubtedly died since her daughter-in-law Fœnia told me that she was dying yesterday.

In an Eggspectation restaurant (whose name I forget and that the two employees will keep silent without telling me why it is a taboo, but I suspect that it is for reasons of competition) I will look for a box in my name which contains the missing pieces of a piece of furniture that I have just bought. I have a health appointment in the same building, where I left my coat or whatever. There, without a mirror, however, I discover that my linen tie is inside out. So I undo it and I also take off my shirt. Not without finding that it is a bit exaggerated in a public place. The two waitresses make me an ultra-friendly conversation. Bluntly, I discovered myself without my pants (ocher, linen also). I think they are upside down but by putting them back I see that they were in the right place so I take them out again to put them back in the right direction. Clients without stature and a bit sullen see me doing it. The scene ends as I order some roast beef. Small detail reminiscent of Mike's setbacks in the shower in yesterday's episode!

A wonderfully handsome young actor is going to play Romeo and I share the enthusiasm of the production with him. In rehearsal, during breaks, we are naked or almost, we spin mutual happiness. Even the rejuvenated Hariett the Puritan who wears a sexy blouse, tells the young man that she's a good spectator for "good" stories. I really don't feel noticed or judged by the team around us, and I, who tend to stutter in situations like this, have no hesitation in expressing myself.

Danger called Ken - Episode 5 - TOURNIQUET D'ENFER
Well, yesterday, finally an episode where we were able to calm our nerves because the mens are generally made of steel but not when I am given this kind of demo.
Staging? A little bad, but what the hell, right?
I did not believe in the dager in a series but now I have to revise my positions.
Well overall it would have taken me some time to adapt, but here we are at this pivotal episode and I think I caught up with the train.
And I would like to add that the special effects are less harmful the more the series advances in all kinds of situations that do not necessarily require them. I take my hat off to a team capable of correcting her position during the series, I was going to say, during the broadcast!
During the first four episodes that we have seen, these heroes must cross a world where all men are robotic beings. In their own way. Some prefer to use violence to cover up their inability to handle the situation. Others must submit to the will of the main protagonists to continue to hide that they are buying emotions. In short, Danger called Ken draws a rather pitiful male clan, compared to the three heads who lead the story. We feel an inversion of values between the alleged killer and his prayers. The American expression "bravery before excess" is completely reversed here, the engineers becoming united in opposition to the programmed industrialists. Laudable intention but unsuccessful so far because of a disappointing staging in a climate of aesthetic apotheosis.

Danger called Ken - Episode 6 - ROBOTIQUE ET DÉCOURAGEMENT
With this fascinating fiction, the successful duo Jerome Harrilander and Olivier Stear takes the viewer on a dizzying and overwhelming journey to the heart of the intimate and the work on the fundamental fears that inhabit us. "A danger named Ken", this marvel on the heroism and the fragility of our lives, reminds us that television is sometimes a setting of choice for ambitious authors.
During the two weeks of broadcasting (at the rate of five episodes each Thursday), the weaknesses, contradictory desires and the conscious and unconscious resistance of the protagonists gradually emerge. The hero himself (played by Jerome Harrilander, in the best role of his career) is not immune to violent internal turmoil which he reports somehow to a robotic superior who only hopes for destruction installations where his rival (the witness man embodied by Olivier Stear) is called upon to dominate the world.
The director interprets neither the theme of the series nor its author. He does not interpret the situation from a philosophical, political or psychological point of view. He only interprets the dramatic aspect of the broadcast. The director finds in each scene a proposed action. It is about the paradox between the proposed action of the scene and the scenic actions which do not resemble the proposed action in any way but realize its meaning. No stage action has a meaning imposed in advance. For this reason, the method of learning staging proposed here should be called the method of paradoxical scenic actions.
Strongly agree with your positive views. I found this episode particularly impactful and the people I was with then let themselves go to ramble on their own moods while I had remained stuck with Ken in the trap that the man-witness had for him. tense, without my knowing if this trap was really intended for him or for the damn company director who responds like an automaton to the computer directives that he is commanded.

Danger called Ken - Episode 7 - PARADIGMES DU PÉRIL
This production is none other than a figure of importance when it comes to the direction of production with subliminal hints in our imaginary solitudes. We know, by the imposing World out of whack, still as topical (and even more!) As during its very first broadcast, Petrolucci deconstructs our perception of the society in which we interfere to make us see its true. nature, its sometimes disastrous consequences. This popular producer was able to skillfully play with my mind especially during the retransmission of his Orlando furioso, and especially last night after I found myself dreaming of an immediate sequel to the seventh episode of "Danger called Ken", entitled "Paradigms of peril ". This short text, which I think is similar to the short story, mixes a variety of stylistic effects (including personification and analogy) to send a strong message: the notion of equality in men.
For a while, a gentle, non-violent form of anarchy reigns over the reservoir. However, as one would expect in such circumstances, a group more educated, more brilliant than the rest of the robots gradually takes the power, bypassing the rules subtly to end up gaining full control of their fellows, slaves in to become. To me, the famous quote from that episode perfectly represents the whole series, which it tends to express: "Let’s be proud of our fears, they define who we are."
